Admitting You’re Wrong with BACON??? Well, that is just silly. I’m never wrong and If I was, I would admit it right away. So rather than discussing me admitting that I’m wrong (because I’m not) let’s instead, talk about why some people have a difficult time admitting it, unlike me, and how we should react.

There are several reasons for not being able to admit fault and they are usually based in fear. Sometimes those that hold tight to their convictions seem strong, but they are really confused or afraid.

Some will cheerfully admit their mistakes, others look to share the blame, and still others will take the truth to the grave.

Why do so many act this way?

B – Believes that it shows weakness

A – Apathetic towards truth

C – Can’t make sense of it

O – Ostracism, anger from being ridiculed.

N – No or low self-confidence

How to deal with someone who won’t admit that they are wrong.

B – Be truthful

A – Avoid them

C – Confident Communication

O – Offer an Out

N – Negotiate for clarification

Keep in mind, sometimes being all wrong is alright.
