When it’s constantly storming, it’s difficult to see the rainbows for the rain. When you’re surrounded by gray clouds, it can seem impossible to find the silver-linings. But there is a light at the end of every tunnel, and it is your way up and out. That light is sometimes very small. But even the smallest of flames can give us hope. You’ve got to fan and feed that spark if you want to create a fire.
When you start focusing on the good things in life it will become a habit. And it will become easier and easier to anticipate happier times in the future.
We all suffer from fear of the future and some anxiety of what might come…but with a little effort we can lessen those feelings and sleep better at nights.
How to fight for Optimism
B – Balloons or Bricks? Who are the people we surround ourselves with?
A – Acknowledge and Accept! What can we really control?
C – Challenger to Champ! Keep searching for rainbows and solutions.
O – Observe and Omit! What can we learn from the past and the present to prep us for the future?
N – Normalize from Notes! Let’s keep track of what we’re grateful for and learn to look forward to tomorrow.
Whenever you think it could be better, remember it could also be a whole lot worse.
