Embarrassed with BACON!

Do you ever feel like everyone is watching and judging you? If so, don't worry - we've all had moments when we felt embarrassed or anxious in front of others. We judge ourselves so harshly that these situations can become overwhelming and hard to overcome. But there's good news - it doesn't have to be this way! With the right mindset and a few easy steps, we can learn how to push past our fears and find true happiness without feeling ashamed or worried about what other people think.

Before you offer a shoulder to lean on…

O - Override the feeling with a handful of tools. Focus on the future, calm with beath and cool water, search for the positive.

N - No one can avoid it. Brooklyn-based psychotherapist, Emmy Kleine, believes that embarrassment is a learned response. Whether certain behaviors are acceptable or not, she says we learn from: society, our caregivers, our teachers, others. Clients tend to feel embarrassed about three things: their finances, their sexual activity, their physique, and they assume these issues are unique to them.


“It’s only embarrassing if you care what people think, and that’s not always a bad thing.”
